Who we are

Gig-Arts was founded in 2005 and became a registered charity in 2013. Gig-Arts helps young visual and performing artists to ‘make a living and make a difference’.

We work with young people in education and special needs on selected themes, in partnership with schools, colleges, universities, centres for the disabled across the charitable sector.

Our focus is to inspire young people to help others. Our young participants achieve this with a variety of creative projects. The impact of their outreach is measurable and deeply appreciated – and this is the power of these young Gig-Arts Leaders.

Many Charities are vulnerable at the moment due to a restricted economic climate. Our combination of creativity and innovation can help to relieve that pressure by implementing strategies that can successfully nurture and inspire youth volunteering in the Arts.

Our aim is to be a leader within the Arts charitable sector, creating pioneering and enterprising programmes and fundraising solutions at a time when new approaches are much needed.
